Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of the muscle.  The aim of Deep Tissue massage is to release chronic patterns of tension within the body through the use of slow moving strokes and deep pressure on the constricted areas, either following or crossing the fibers of the muscles, tendons, and or fascia.

Deep tissue massage is used to release chronic muscle pain and tension through slower techniques as well as direct deep pressure or friction applied across the fibers of the muscle. Deep tissue massage aids to break up or in some cases eliminate scar tissue.
